I’m John Che Larracuente, the founder of WGL Consulting LLC & Ori Corporation now operating as Ori Company. My journey into the cannabis industry is deeply personal, driven by my experience with epilepsy. During high school, my seizures escalated to tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures, and despite years of traditional treatments, nothing worked. By 2009, while attending Howard University, I endured up to 40 seizures annually and faced severe depression.

In 2013, I discovered cannabis not just recreationally but as a powerful remedy for my seizures. This led me to enroll at Oaksterdam University, where I earned certification in Advanced Indoor Horticulture. Cannabis gave me control over my health and inspired me to advocate for its medicinal benefits, highlighting its role as a safer alternative to pharmaceuticals.

In 2019, I founded Ori Company, focusing on cannabis education and cultivation. Despite setbacks like a federal raid and challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, Ori Company has grown into a respected, vertically integrated business. Today, we’re seeking investment to expand our cultivation and retail operations. Our mission is to use cannabis to transform lives, promote health, and create a positive community impact.
